New range for LD Sensors proves very popular
LD Sensors have developed a new range of Strain Gauge displacement sensor, based on the LDS range, the new LD20 is housed in a Ø19 (¾") outer case, this size is interchangeable with other displacement sensors utilising differing technologies and now allows those users committed to a Ø19 (¾") outer case, an option of the accuracy and commonality of the LD Sensors strain gauge sensors, see our Advantages page for further information and SPECIFICATION page for performance data and dimensional sizes.

Dedicated clamps for the full range of LDS products
The ‘Blue Clamps’ are now available offering solid fixing with easy adjustment and with no damage to the sensor. Specially designed range to suit Ø17.4,(11/16")  Ø19 (3/4") and Ø25.4 (1.0") sensor bodies. See Products page range for full details. The aluminium body of these clamps can be modified to suit customer specific applications.

100mm Displacement
LDS have extended their range of proven technology strain gauge displacement sensors to include a 100mm displacement sensor (LDS100). The LDS100 is available from the end of March 2010, check out the SPECIFICATION page on this website for technical details. With an accuracy of better than 0.05% per 25 mm, this equates to 0.2% over the full displacement the LDS100 retains high accuracy and other features in line with the LDS range.
